Penalty shoot out drama sees Glebe Hibernian overcome Never(ton) say die rivals

Well, that was one of the best finals we have seen. The DK TILING SERVICES Lanarkshire Cup Final at Petershill had absolutely everything you could wish for.
So first up, what a great atmosphere created by the fantastic support for both teams, who were a credit to the two teams and the league, so thanks to them.
The players, performance and conduct was a real credit to both Stephen Kane, Manager of Glebe, and Jim Robert of Netherton
The Match officials, Joe Sweeney(Ref) assisted by Barry Livingstone and Brian O’Neill with 4th official Charlie Robertson were really superb, with not any complaints from even the crowd!!!!

The game then, well too, much too, much to write it all. Glebe deservedly struck in the first half to lead at ht, then Netherton deservedly equalised in the second half
The next Drama was Extra time which in the first 15 saw Glebe reduced to ten men when a second caution saw a red card issued.
Then, player of the match Josh Kane, Netherton goalie, made, a triple stop that will have people talking about it for a long long time. I still cant believe what I saw.
So after 127 mins of non stop action, it went to the lottery of pens where Glebe stopper Craig Hart secured the trophy with two saves, which even that was not enough to outshine his opposite number.
At the presentation, all the good qualities of behaviour and sportsmanship were on display and pointed out by the master of ceremonies.

CAN WE HAVE MORE OF THAT PLEASE.

Thanks to Dylan Knox of DK Tiling services, Stephen from Saltire Digital, and Caitlin and the catering staff at the venue.

OOFT WHAT A NIGHT AND CONGRATS TO GLEBE HIBERNIAN
