The wait goes on to get this final played.
Whilst there is a date planned (1/3/24), both finalists potentially would have a Scottish Cup tie on the following day, so if 1 or both make it thru their tie in February, it would raise an issue on getting it played. It was even joked that they could get drawn against each other in the Scottish and play the tie a week earlier so we could still have the final.
The venue, Hamilton Accies, is booked so we have to await developments.
One thing that has been approved by the league executive, is the proposal from the match secretary and referee advisor, is the officials who will take charge of the game
